André is a native of Jamaica who has seen firsthand, the lack of opportunities available to all students who would like to pursue their continued education. Raised in a single parent household, he learned the importance of responsibility at an early age. As a youngster, he was a member or the Boy Scout organization and then the Jamaica Cadet Force.
André currently resides in the United States and is an Information Technology Professional with a wide range of experiences within the IT support arena. His experiences spanning some 30+ years, have place him in the position to have worked for several notable organizations. He is a very analytical person and pays close attention to details. Even though he was making a comfortable living, his love for education took him back to complete his degree at the mature age of fifty.
André has served on the Board of Directors for an origination called Committee for the Economic Redevelopment of Jamaica (CERJ) back in the nineties an early two thousands. On the softer side, Andre enjoys listing to music, working outside in his garden and also what he calls, taking his nature walks.
André: “It is with great pleasure that I make myself available for this cause. I so believe in the act of extending ones hand freely and without rewards to provide assistance to the less fortunate.”
