Dr. Barbara Mair, Psy. D., received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She has been a psychologist for almost 25 years and currently has a private practice in Charleston, South Carolina. She has presented nationally and internationally addressing topics to include Spiritual Disciplines and Social Action; Christian Attitudes Toward Interracial Marriages; and Group Therapy Curriculum for Life Term Inmates.

Barbara is a native of Jamaica who loves volunteering and has done volunteer work in Jamaica and several states in the US. This includes New York, California, and South Carolina. Barbara loves to write and has written a few journal articles and is currently writing her first devotional book for women. In addition she is also working on two individual books of poems.
